I'm replacing the transom assembly on my 96 capri cuddy. I notice that part of the transom seal is visable looking from the inside of the hull like the transom was cutout too deep. Anyone else ever notice this.

I strongly advice to use some sealer instead of trusting the seal, it WILL start to leak some time and the water will get into the transom, engine stringers and bulkhead over time. Thus resulting in major repairs, I've just done it myself, everything wad starting to rot, just because of some cheap solution at theBayliner factory. :cheer:
