lost power trim last weekend on 75hp merc. Trim did activate off and on during the outing. had to manually raise the motor to get up boat ramp. Motor of solenoid?
I have had two different boats that started having power trim issues, both times it was the switch going bad. If you have not verified this I recommend starting there. The switch will cause an intermittent issue, where as if it was the motor or cylinder it would most likely just not work at all.
