Took new to me out today, towed back in,risers overheating severely, temp gauge normal 165-175. Hatch cover closed didn't have clue as to problem. Anyways running ok went to open up then it bogged down started to hear pinging noises in motor, outdrive sounded like something broke. Shut down opened hatch risers smoking,never tried to restart pulled out off water brought home.worried about motor what to do? Pull plugs look for water, check for water in oil pull risers off look for blockage. Thanks .tstat check impeller also noticed oil pressure only around 20 just before shut down tach jumping all over. Any help appreciate 5.7 Chevy alpha one 90 2655 ciera

Yank the elbows off post a pic of what you see transfer ports on the mani also.
