Hello, I recently bought 2000 Trophy model 2002, need to figure out the proper location for starting and house battery; I put the starting battery on the Starboard side and house (deep cycle) battery on Port side, can anyone confirm that is the correct location?

another question when the battery switch is in position 1 is it using the starting battery only at the Starboard side (assuming the starting battery is on the Starboard side)?

I attached pictures, the starboard (starting battery) has only 2 wires, port side battery has 4 wires (1 positive and 3 negative, picture of the battery switch is attached as well, thank you for any input.

rybar, if your trying to determine which battery selection at the MBSS (1 or 2) pull power from the starting battery or the deep cycle battery a simple test would be to remove a positive cable from just one battery and see which selection at the MBSS still supplies power to the boat. For example: removing the positive cable from the start battery and then selecting bank #1 and there is to power to the boat then bank #1 would be the start battery.
