    242 Classic Dinette Seat Problem-gctid808123

Back of the dinette seat bulk head / support lose. Looked all over for screws, hooks, etc to tighten. Has anyone had this issue and how did you tighten to carpeted wall? Please see enclosed photos

Maybe a few more photos or a drawing of the floor plan would help. I don't know what I am seeing in the photo.

I haven't seen that issue before, but I'm sure there's someone on here who will have some good ideas. I would guess it has to be attached from behind, but I don't know how to access that portion of the boat and am not near my boat to look. If worse comes to worst you could put some L brackets on there. Any idea how it came loose? Was it gradual?

        Back2Water,

I just bought the boat and it came that way.. I can't ask original owner due to his passing. "L" brackets might work. I have seen a few other 242's down at a marina. When I see the owners I will ask them .

While I am at it. I need to replace cabin folding door rubber gasket. I have searched the web with no luck. any ideas?

        THANKS!!!
