Hello. I'm new to this forum as I just boat my first boat. It's a 2002 Capri 215. For the most part, it's in very good condition. The throttle controls seem a bit stiff, and finding the neutral detent can be iffy at times. I'm going to try to flush out the cables of any grime, but I may end up replacing them. I haven't "got in there" yet, but I was looking at replacement cable cost, and I can't figure out how to find the length of cables I would need
I wanted to find a service manual, but the ones I found online required I sign up for some file sharing account, which I'd rather not do. I don't really mind buy a service manual, but I'm not really sure where or what I should buy. Any advice on this would be appreciated.
In the meantime, and helpful info on throttle control cable replacement sizing would be great. I'm looking at SeaStar Xtreme based on a recommendation that seemed credible I found somewhere.
Thanks...and looking forward to all this!
