    Boat Railway Question-gctid807938

Greetings! We are looking into installing a railway system on an old (not usable as-is) boat ramp we have at our new house. I found a post here from 2011 when someone was asking about a railway and was considering buying one from the Naylor company. One forum member - "whywhyzed" - said that he has a different make rail which has the running wheels between two rails - thus eliminating disrailing problems which apparently happen with the system that just have the wheels sitting on top. He did not give a manufacturer and I can't open the two photos he had posted at the time. He also stated that the Naylor products are very expensive and not that great quality. I would be very interested in any information anyone can give about who makes a double-rail system (since derailing on our property could become a major problem), and any other advice/thoughts on the Naylor or other systems.

    Many Thanks!

First of all, please fill in your profile and signature. Knowing they type of boat that you own and the region that you are located in is often helpful to those providing answers.

Do a web search for, marine rail. You will find a large number of suppliers with various types of rail systems.
