    1990 Bayliner Ciera 2755 - Help with the HEAD!!!-gctid805695

Not getting water to the head when i pump. I have been told there could be a seacock turned off.

Anyone help me and tell me where this is and how to resolve?

    Thanks a ton!

Most of our boats have the seacock valve under the cabin stairs. If its not open already, check for any leaks when you open it.

I'm guessing you have a Jabsco manual pump that has a wet/dry pump feature. The lever needs to be switched to wet.

If it still won't draw water, try tossing a 1/4 cup of baby or vegetable oil into the head to lube your pump parts. Close the lid and pump rapidly and see if you can get some suction to draw water. Once its primed, it should pump water easily.

You should get some other suggestions, but if all else fails one of these may be in your future: Jabsco Pump Assembly

Mine is a 1988 2655 and has the valve in the cave floor area under the front of the mattress as you enter the cave. Garchar

I had a 2755 great boat lots of room and storage. The valve for the head is located under the step as mentioned above.
