    Dash panel labels-gctid802860

    Hello,

I have an 85 ciera. It's the 2550 series. I am looking to re silk-screen the dash labels, as they are all gone, and I have no idea what switches do what. Is there somebody who has a diagram, or a picture of a non-faded panel so I can correctly make labels and identify the switches? They have the old toggle style switches on them, and they are located to the left of the Helm, right above the key. They are all in a vertical row if that helps identify what instrument cluster.

I have an owners manual, but the instrument panel layout appears to be missing from it.

    Thanks, and I appreciate it!

Wow, ExOr . . . can't do much to help you here with that . . (other than my response bumps you back up to the top) . . . my 2452 is gone now and I sent all the books and stuff with her anyway. Have you tried customer service at Bayliner? Surely they or one of the top brass guys on here will be able to direct you better. Take care.

Once you figure out what the switches do, it may be easier to have a new panel made. Look at the posts by SomeSailor in the BOC Mall area of this forum.

It provides access to the transporter room

On some older Bayliners the Access (Accessory) switch was wired to the macerator.

Accy - Accessory. Sometimes not connected to anything. I added courtesy lights at floor level and used the accessory switch. Very handy for unloading at night.
