Hello all I have recently acquired a RAYMARINE Adaptive Digital L1260 Plus Chart Plotter / Sonar / Radar Display, my question is I have been trying to find a copy of the owners and installation manuals and can not find anything on google or raymarine's website. Also have been trying to find the part number for the sun cover as mine did not come with one. Thanks for any information in advance!

I don't believe so my display does not have a d after the 1260 and this manual says that ignorer to view radar you have to have a separate radar display and mine is suppose to view radar

the 1260 is a fish finder with chart plotter functionality. in order to view radar you will need a separate Pathfinder series display (Rl, RC) and connect the 2 displays via HSB cable. The 1260 doesn't have anywhere to connect a radar cable to. The connection on the back that LOOKS like a radar connection is for the transducer.

Guess I will end up using this as a network display at the stern for fishing, BILLFNH do you have a link for this device on the raymarine website as I can't find anything for the L1260+

read this article. It states also that you can connect a RADAR mfd via HSB to the L1260+ and share data.

That article is talking about the L1250+ not the 1260+

The seller stated he got his title for the device which said it is a plotter sonar and radar capable from raymarine's website I cannot find anything on raymarine's site on the 1260+. It was sold as a parts unit because the chart card reader was malfunctioning I was buying for a radar display for the front and I was going to buy an RL70C+ for the stern to repeat the sonar too.

Liberty, My apologies, the 1260 PLUS Does indeed support radar. I misread the model. Yes yours WILL support the pathfinder series radar scanners. Again, sorry for the incorrect information.

I have a question about this display. If the radar scanner is not currently connected will it not let you access the radar mode of the display at the moment all I can get to come up is the sonar mode chart mode and radar mode are not available when I push the display key all I get is the half screen options I don't see the different modes to select like the manual suggests should show up.
