    1998 Ciera 2355 Hawse pipe cover missing-gctid396270

My wife took the cover off the hawse pipe cover when she was using the anchor and the cover fell overboard. Where can i buy another cover ? The pipe is just under 3 inches in diameter and i assume that its the original one that bayliner installed in 1998 for the 2355.

West Marine has a bunch of deck pipes.

      Thanks

Looks like they have a Perko one that may be an exact fit to replace the original.

      Mine looks like this

That looks identical to the one I replaced on my 2003 285. Same situation with the cover broken off.

The good news is I got a white one that fit perfectly and looked better. I'm pretty sure it was a stock Perko.

Now, to change the subject, is that light fixture legal? Those red and green lights need to be visible over an arc of 225 degrees. You can't have anything (like an anchor) blocking them. It's not just an academic question. if you're involved in any kind of an accident at night or in rain or fog, the other side's attorney will chew you up and spit you out if they can prove your lights were obstructed.

I changed the whole piece with a replacement I got at West Marine. Same as above the white looks better. Can't remember the cost but it wasn't much. They did not have just the cover.

You can see my anchor roller is missing as it had worn its way through the fiberglass. This picture has my fiberglass patch job prior to finish sanding.
