Zincs, Which Type?-gctid395897

I need to replace my Zincs and was wondering which type I should use, Zinc, Aluminum or Magnesium and what the difference is.

Yes I will be in the salt some of the time, maybe two weeks but mostly fresh water. Are the internet stores ok to buy from? Thanks.

Use zinc for salt/brackish water.

Use magnesium for fresh water only.

Use aluminum for the best compromise in both water types.

Being the anal guy that I am, these are "anodes". The anode material will be either Zinc, Aluminum or Magnesium.
