I posted yesterday and posed a question to all members and 2655 owners related to props. I received no response!!! Is it me, a lack of knowledge by boat owners or do I need to post a hot pic of a chick. Almost all posts get some response even if not the kind that are helpful to you. WHATS UP? My wife and I are just curious. Gar char

Some posts get immediate attention, others a day or two - I think it all just depends on how much activity is taking place, and what everyone is already involved in.

Could be because your question is very specific to your engine/boat/outdrive configuration. I think if folks just haphazardly started answering your question without any real experience or knowledge about your very specific question, you could wind up with bad advice. I could answer your question so I could sound like a know it all, but I'd rather defer to people who could give you GOOD advice. Just be patient and hopefully someone can chime in with some good advice.
As far as people here not having knowledge that's a pretty ridiculous statement. If you'd look back through the forums, there's an absolutely incredible wealth of knowledge and experience here.

You must admit that you have a rather unique set up in your boat and one that may never have been duplicated thus the lack of a response.
Happy boating!!

I think that Phil nailed it. Your 2009 Volvo Penta 5.7 300 hp DP engine/drive combination is rather unique to this boat. As most of us know, we can't make a fair comparison to that of a single prop drive in a similar hull.
Add to this, that the AQ series Duo Prop crowd is not familiar with the 2009 Volvo Penta DP-S style "F" series propellers, of which are thru-hub exhaust, unlike the B or C series for the gasser AQ series.
Had you mentioned B or C series, I'll bet that you would have received some responses to your question.
Just an FYI, as the numerical code for your series increases, the effective pitch also increases.... and visa-versa. If you want to increase your WOT RPM, go from the F-3's to an F-2 set.
In aluminum, I believe that these will be the D series, but double check me on that.

It's not just you, it happens to me as well.
Sometimes I make a reply on other peoples threads and I stop all conversation as no one ever posts again and there is nothing wrong with what I said.
I thought it was just me or maybe it's because I am in Oz.
