    2556 livewell questions...-gctid394403

Hello all, after three trips out i would like to see how a better livewell setup runs! I have the factory(i suppose) livewell setup. A pump mounted to a screen into livewell bottom and it pumps out water through a bulkhead fitting when i turn it on. I'm thinking the previous owner atached the pump backward and its supposed to draw air into the well? I'm ok with this for emptying, was going to add another pump just for airation.....any thoughts?

My bait well pump has an adjustment on the end of the water circulation nozzle. I can adjust for more or less water flow and as I do this it also creates or lessens the amount of air bubbles. The way the air is introduced is how the water drops into the well water creating bubbles.

It's more like a fish storage container that drains. If you fish, you would throw your catch in there, on ice or water, and it would pump out when you pulled the catch out.

People that don't fish on these boats cut them out or store gear in them. Maybe Pep will post some pics, he has done this recently. It creates an amazing amount of storage on a boat that needs some.
