What is the best method to determine rotation of my engine? Getting ready to do alignment for first time and need to know what direction the shifter needs to be in. Thanks.

The rotation determination for all marine engines is done as though viewing from the flywheel end.
Your 3.0L will be a Std. LH rotation (counter-clockwise) engine..... same as car/truck engine.
