Hey Guys, Got ole girl up and running and everything seems to be trucking along good.... So I thought since I have no major problems I would work on the "small stuff"... This weekend our Marina is having a Wake Surfing SHow and it last a couple of days. So me and the boys are gonna camp out on the boat and have some bonding time... Usually they just sleep on the port and staboard bench seats up in the V-Birth... But I have always wondered how to make the V-Birth into a full blow "bed"... I figured out you use the odd ball shaped table as the platform, but where do the cushions come from??? I have tried re arranging all of the cushions to fill the space, but have not had any luck... I went on e-bay looking for a single cushion and low and belohold I found a guy selling a 2455 1989 with a Vbirth cushion... I don't want to pay $12,000 for a cushion... So my question is this... Did this guy just "make" his own cushion (as all the other cushions in the V-birth area are still in their original places) or is there a way to rearrange the available cushions to fill in the center of the V-Birth area... Any Help??

Anyone know where I can buy a V-Berth cushion for a 1989 2455?? Or do I have to get creative and try to track down all the material and create one myself?

Not sure where you could buy one. I took my cover off mine to wash it and its just a 6" piece of foam cut to fit. If i was you i would try a craft or hobby store make you own and throw a blanket over the whole thing for the weekend. Im sure it would be alot cheaper. If you go to ebay and search bayliner ciera someone had a cover for sale but i forgot what boat it was for

A piece of foam cut like the table space will work, just put a blanket/sleeping bag over it. You would not sleep on the stock one bare anyway. Also there is another piece, a small triangular piece that you may have to make out of plywood.
Put your table in place and there may be a hole in the middle of the bed without it. Mine was an 87 so yours may not need it but check first.

I know it's an older boat but I wonder if you could contact Bayliner and perhaps they still have the ability to make you one. I'm sure they still have the specs. Otherwise, in most decent sized towns you can find shops like this Custom Foam St. Louis that could probably help you if you just give them some measurements. These guys here have done boat cushions for many in the area and would be where I would turn to. After Bayliner.
