1988 Bayliner Capri kill switch wiring-gctid388713

Looks for any and all info about my kill switch on this boat.

It appears to have been bypassed, but I cannot find what two wires were connected for the bypass.

A wire diagram or anyone who knows what color the wires are that connect to the back of the two prong kill switch would be really useful.

After doing some digging in the boat. I have a yellow/red and purple and red wire coming from my ignition switch.

The purple one looks like it was spliced together. Is this my kill switch wires?

I disconnected them and they boat just cranked over.

What would be the best way to test my coil? I have power going to the coil, but nothing coming out. My spark plug wires don't have any spark.

I did just put in new points in the distributor. I went around the engine and cleaned all the grounds off.
