Was getting some work done on my dingy 30 Honda today. Asked tech about charging circuit. He indicated it was 10 amps and would put out 10 amps even at trolling speed if battery needed it because of electronics load and other. Can anyone confirm the idle 10 amp chg, it did not seem right to me.

Most likely we have no one here who has one or really doesn't know what it charges at idle.
I did a search and found no discussion about your question.
You might try I boats http://forums.iboats.com/forum.php
They have an outboard section that may answer your question if you ask.
An email to Honda should get it also.
This forum isn't useless although some answers might be. (smile)
