I have a 1999 Trophy 2002 on an Escort 2 axle trailer. I want to install the short style (2' wide) carpeted boat guides on the rear of the trailer. All of the bunk style carpeted boat guides that I find have a max adjustment of 13" from the trailer frame to the side of the boat. My boat is 14 1/2" from the frame. Has anyone installed this type of guide? I thinking maybe, since it is only 1 1/2", I can just bend them out slightly. Or.... If anyone knows where I can buy these 2' wide guides that will extend a little longer 13" from the trailer, I would appreciate. Thanks

Keep looking, I need some that go out 22"... which I have not found.
I did find many which go to 17" though. I don't recall which brands/etc. as I skipped each as I found they were not large enough.

22"........ good luck with that! I ordered the ones that only extend to 13". I'll make'em fit one way or another. I figure that putting my boat on the trailer will make them stretch 1 1/2" right? Anyway, if I have to modify them I will.ishiboo wrote:

If you get enough speed it shoud stretch them out.RussC wrote:

I'll be launching my new to me 22 footer tomorrow, solo, so I may be looking for those things too after tomorrow.
