Hi guys I'm new to BOC, but have owned my boat several years. 1988 Bayliner 2556, 5.7 w/cobra drive. I am currently running a 4 blade prop, it works great at low speeds, and I can get on plane at 3100rpms at about 15-17 mph. But the problem is it is topped out at about 4,000 rpm and about 21 mph. I am looking for a three blade that will still get me decent low speed plane but get a little more speed. I installed 12 x 24 trim tabs a few years ago and that really enabled the low rpm plane. Any recommendations?
