Took my new rebuilt carb out to test it all is well. Backing away from dock at a snails pace hit something bent my prop and tore a half an ear smooth off. Its a 832832a45p21 stock job.... im running a 3.0 4 banger. Whats my cheapest most effective way to get a lil more hole shot... considering an alluminium 14.25x19 4 blade. Am i correct or wrong i no ss is the choice but im on a budget. Help me out guys.. w.o.t is 4400 i beleive and gear ratio is 2.00... up in the air gotta get this thing coming first thing in the morning.. thanx again folks spill your guts

I would suggest you create a signature that includes the particulars on your boat. It will be helpful for any future questions you might have. Without knowing what you're trying to push it's impossible to recommend anything?:arr

You are on the right track as far as a switch to a 4 blade for better hole shot and dropping to a 19 pitch. Assuming you have a Alpha drive you could go larger than 14.25"

I went with a 4 blade alumn 19p. Ran into a trim tab clearance issue.. im assuming theres diffrent tabs i can buy?. Prop is a solstas i think or sumn like that new in box tax title licence at local prop shop was 110... now ta figure out trim clearance hmmmm. Ill update my stats asap. I live in the sticks with no cable or internet access, all i have is this phone..... but its an 05 capri 185
