    Cables behind galley?-gctid380810

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to get behind the galley in a 285. I want to bring an antennacable from the arch to the end of the galley where the tv resides. This gives me also the oppertunity to connect a decent antenna to the FM radio...

    Regards

    Leon

Can you see anything back there with the drawers out? You might want to pull the fridge, just a few screws and it's very light, on mine anyway!

      Hi Leon,

Not sure if this would help but in the aft-cabin of our 245 there is an access panel held on by 6 screws. It is near the headboard (port side) and at the ceiling. When I removed mine last fall to look for a leak, I was able to see the whole back of the galley area where the wiring goes. - Tom

On the 245 you can also pull your AC panel for access behind the galley. Not sure if the 285 has the same setup.

          Hi,

The 285 galley is not the same as the 245. I will continue my search for an opening.

          Thanks for the suggestions.

          Regards

          Leon

better leave it closed! The workmanship in there is something which makes you throw up. At least for all the boats I had the displeasure to look in.....
