i used a product last year on my drive called alumaguard it worked perfect as a clear coat antifouling for my drive . used it again this year and got kind of carried away and got it all over my anodes . should i wait til it dries and sand the anode a little ?

If it is not fully cured (less than 7 days) you should be able to just wipe them clean with lacquer thinner or MEK. Heck lacquer thinner will take off cured paint if rubbed long enough. Make sure the paint did not get between the anode contact points. If so you may have to remove it and fully clean, either way I see no reason to sand them.
