    Perko hinges-gctid378811

I have spent around 650 dollars on... repeatedly replacing transom door and engine cover hinges over the last three years. This is for 2 boats, admittedly. They become to difficult to open. I note that the screws on the transom door corrodes like mad. Any idea?

Are there replacements with identical hole patterns?

Also, yet again, could someone help me get a pair posted from the US to the UK, ideally UPS or trackable post. Perko heavy duty butt hinges, 3" x 2". Happy to pay Paypal or whatever you prefer and I can do, in advance.

Eugene, that's the problem with many manufacturers..... there appears to be no standard fastener patterns, which makes it difficult to move away from the Perko brand into a more quality brand hinge, rail fitting, etc.

If you were to find a better quality hinge, the change to the screw pattern would be a one-time-deal!

I replaced my hinges with a pair I bought from Lowes, stainless steel, very heavy duty and nice looking, had to fill the old holes a drill new ones.
