Refrig breaker trips w/shore power but fine on batt-gctid378638
Ok so new issue 1997 bayliner cierra 2855 - my refrigerator immediately trips the breaker when I turn it on (won't stay in the on position) when I am plugged into shore power. When I am not it flips to the on position just fine.
Are you saying that the fridge runs when on 12 VDC? If the 120 VAC breaker is tripping,it can be anything from a pinched wire to a bad inverter in the fridge. Unplug the fridge and see if the breaker still trips when 120 VAC is applied. If it doesn't the problem is in the fridge. If it does the problem is between the recepticle and the breaker.
