Has anyone found a way to access the bilge area in the main cabin by any means such as creating access hatches in the flooring?

Yes, I've done exactly that.
The floor was questionable so I removed it. I should preface by saying the previous owner had removed the galley and most of the other interior. Since you question is rather vague, I would assume you want to access something, fresh water tank bilge pump etc.
