Just started my new to me 2355 and when it is running the alarm beeps about every 20 seconds, all the guages look ok Any Ideas on what is causing this? 5.0 1998 Also the trim tabs don't work. Where it the fuse box?

My alarm goes off if the engine starts to run to hot or if the resovor for the lower unit oil gets low.

First find the source of the beep. After finding the source of the beep you should be able to determine what the alarm is sounding for, it will be mounted on or wired to whatever it is that needs attention.

Alarm sounds from high temp, low drive fluid, AND low oil pressure. The drive fluid resevior has been known to have faulty sensors. If your gauges look good I would start with that. Sounds like a faulty sensor to me.

The fuses should be under the dash.

Does your boat have the gas fume detector? Could it be that?

The alarm for low oil pressure, drive fluid, and temperature, sound much more often than once every 20 seconds. I'd find the source of the alarm sound. It should indicate the problem.
