    Not happy with the results-gctid376315

I did the spring wash and wax yesterday. The teal just does not have the normal pop. Last time it was wheeled was 2008. It may be time again.

The front part is after waxing with Aurora Boat Wax (it usually does great, love their products) I wet part has not been waxed yet:

This is after I was done.

I may try the 3M wax I have and see if it turns out better.

2008 since last compound?? I think you owe the Teal some TLC. I would use 3M Finesse It and see how it comes out.

+1 on the 3m Finesse It. It is amazing stuff. You will need to use a real buffing tool though, not a wax applicator.

I got this from Harbor Freight it worked great with the 3m Finesse It. Run it at a slow rpm.

This one won't do the job.

I agree with the other, time to buff it out till it is teal again, then apply a good polish (Maguires) and on to your wax of choice..... The polish step will give it depth and wet look.....

I have the same unit from Harbor Freight.

Off the WM today for some Finesse.

If its bad you may have to go with HD compound 1st and work your way up to finess it. I did on the white of my 3055 and 2355 to really get the shine to come back out. Or maybe its time for that new 5788 hmmm?
