    Wax on wax off-gctid376079

I just bought a new polisher and had trouble getting a shine on the textured deck areas of my 2859 Classic. Any advise out there on the best way to deal with the textured deck areas? The polisher worked great on the smooth areas. Maybe its just operator error. I was using the standard sponge applicator and the buffer designed for the polisher.

Take a look at General Boating Topics. The thread "Clean or Buff" lends a prespective that is worth thinking about. I don't wax/buff any non-skid. The Admiral is out there with lines while I dock. She is too valuable to slip and fall. Cleaning still provides a respectable looking surface. Wet decks really compound the problem.
