Where is the fuse/breaker? Discovery 246-gctid376035
My windlass on my 2007 bayliner discovery 246 isnt working, I get a click from the relay but not motor noise. I found the fuse for the relay but for the life of me cant find the motor fuse or breaker... anyone have any ideas?
Ok I have a lever switch to the left of the panel with the "pop out fuses", it says master accessory switch on it or something like that. I tried to trace the wires back from the windlass, but it goes inside the side of the boat and the only place I see wires that might be them are at the battery connection and there a few of them that look the same. I'm pretty sure the windlass was put on by the factory, so I'm surprised I don't have a breaker labeled windlass or lewmar or something. I'm kinda at a loss as to how to troubleshoot this... I think my next step will have to be to charge up a spare battery and connect it directly to the windlass motor leads via jumper cables. Then if the motor turns I know it's my hidden breaker, otherwise there is no breaker and the motor is bad. Does my rambling make sense?
Btw, tried a new wax today, Griots Best in Show... simply amazing!

Is that lever tripped? Try resetting it a few times, like when you test a breaker, then make sure its set (not tripped) and try again.
Also, you probably did, but check the connections under the widlass, in the anchor locker. If they dont have a lock washer or lock nut (or even if they do) they may have come loose. Thats why your getting juice at he relay, but not the windlass (maybe)...
