Hi Guys,
I want to finally add a name to the back of the boat. Because the hatch is made out of starboard which is petroleum based product I can't get the letters to stick. The sticky on the back of the letters won't stay stuck. I tried some samples which I applied according to the manufacturer and after about 2 weeks with a slight stroke of a rag going over the letters and they came right off. I was thinking of having a new hatch made out of fiberglass or some other type of white plastic that would allow the letters to stick. I would have to have the hinge line recessed cut out and the 2 latches cut out as well. Any suggestions would be welcome or any ideas for that matter as well. The hatch is approx. 38" x 16".
Thanks for any advice and help in advance
Ed
