    Battery Charger...I think-gctid373646

My 1998 2355 has a electricial divice mounted in the cabinet just below the shore power switches. It has the letters JBL od JLB on it .I think this is the battery charger. Is this correct

That should be your Zinc saver (galvanic isolator).

A few photos may be worth several hundred words here, but very likely a galvanic isolator as noted.

It sounds like a JBL amplifier to me for your stereo. I'm pretty sure JBL doesn't make galvanic isolators, but they do make stereo equipment.

Also, I'm not sure if they installed shorepower and a charger on the smaller 2355's or not, but more than likly, if so, the charger would be installed on a bulkhead in your bilge.
