I have a guest already on the boat who reported that it's clogged. I want to take enough wire to shove down there and clean it (30 minute drive to stores from the boat). Anyone know about how long the hose is?

thats going to be a ****ty job. AHAHAHHAA sorry I couldnt help myself. Thats the plus to the super loud electric, macerator in the pump area before it hits the line
I would guestimate like 7' or so? Its not that long, I have one of those things you put on a drill for the job, dont remember what its called.

Take your electrical fish tape with you. It will be more than long enough.
Your guest can be the first to give it a wipe when you're all done.

I believe it is 5/8" and that would be sh***y if the loop got caught 5' down - maybe you could put some wadding on it and clean it like a gun!

Carlos - before going crazy with cramming stuff in there that may not come out...disconnect it from the tank and put a garden hose on it. The water pressure alone may blow it clear. I did that on my 2655 and it worked perfectly the first time.

That will be my first attempt, but want to be ready for more.
Can't find the fish tape. I'm taking a piece of network cable. It's cheap, so I can toss it. And when my neighbors see me shoving network cable down the crapper vent, they will think I'm installing something really cool on my boat now.

Maybe the vent itself is clogged. Mine has been clogged by spiders in the past. Two years ago it was corroded & obstructed and had to be replaced.
Diconnect the vent hose and try flushing down the vent hose the flush the vent.

I went to the pump station, turned it on, and blocked the toilet with a plunger. That cleaned the vent hose with no effort or mess.
