I was wondering if anyone has replaced there helm /capts chair on the 245 and if you have do you have any pics or style that you liked more then the factory.. my factory chair is just starting to wear and has always been low grade and would love some ideas
If you really want a comfortable airy chair then you must try the one I installed. Over the years I have sat in everything out there and nothing compares to the comfort of this. The mesh keeps things cool even in the nude :hypnotized: and is very comfortable. A little pricey but worth twice the price. http://www.attwoodmarine.com/about-us If you shop around you can find it for around $500.Attwood also makes other really nice helm seats and I did own an Avenir which was also very nice. http://www.attwoodmarine.com/store/c...eating-systemsHere is a pic of it on my boat however the bolster is in the up position.
I bought a new helm chair but haven't installed it yet. I got one with a flip up bolster so I will be able to see over the bow. I spend a lot of time standing now (love the wind in my face), and this should give me something to lean against.
