    Air conditioning outlet-gctid371416

I have been searching the net looking for the ac outlet that the newer boats use in the bathrooms. It is about 1" in diameter and had a single flapper/diverter to stut off the flow if not needed. Does anyone have a source for this wall fitting????

It's for 2" duct. I searched but can't source it for you.

The 2" units are usually for automotive dash replacements or to install in vintage cars. The one I am looking for looks like a 1" thru hull fitting with a cover that rotates to open or close. I think I was on a maridian or carver at the boat show but neither manufacturer list it as a replacement part....

This is the one I found for the auto industry. It is 2.5" which I think is alot of air for a head area...http://www.nostalgicairparts.com/pop...426&subid=main

I have never seen one that small. I assume there is a reducer for it. I believe all my vents are 3".

I have the exact vent you are talking about on my boat. The vent is included as part of this kit. It is described as 2" ID x 2 3/4" OD Vent w/moving louver. But I haven't been able to find where to buy one by itself.I don't know if Dometic makes everything in this kit or if Bayliner put this kit together from various manufacturers. Give Dometic a call (1-800-544-4881) as they might be able to sell you one if the vent is theirs. If not, maybe they know the manufacturer, part number and where to buy one. You might also try calling Great Lakes Skipper as they did have the larger size available by itself at one time.http://greatlakesskipper.com - Bayliner 1908292 Dometic Air Conditioning Accessory Kit

I helped a friend install a Webasto Hydronic furnace and he used several small vents for defrost outlets. He got his equipment from Sure Marine in Seattle - 5320 28th Ave NW # 100 Seattle, WA 98107

The smaller one in the photo above is a single cover (flap). Is that not the one you are looking for? Here is a photo of the same vent installed in the head (lower left on the bulkhead).

I could live with that if I can't find a smaller unit. I think they have smaller vents on the azmut helm station.....
