Length of throttle and shift cables for 2556?-gctid369983

when i did mine i couldnt find the lengh on on the cable, i just used alot of tape to attach a rope to the old cable and pulled it out leaving the rope in there for snaking the new cable back, then i just measure the cable when out. something to think about is when i installed the new cable i also pulled another rope in with it and left it there. could use later for lights, speaker wire ect. at a later date. just go slow and you might have to pull it back in forth a few times, lots of things to get snagged on it there.

Look on the cable jackets- the length should be embossed there.

I would like to have the cables (both helms) on hand prior to pulling the old ones out, possibly using the old to help fish them through. Are the lengths of these ccables documented someplace?
