    Remote Control Slop-gctid557499

I am fighting a shift problem in my 89 bayliner. I have replaced the transom shift cable and remote cable, adjusted shift rod height, adjusted cable with proper tools, etc. I am going through every piece until I get this problem resolved.

I am finding 1/3" slop in the remote control. I think it could be contributing to my problem. I'm looking for the exploded diagrams of the US Marine Remote that I think came standard on the 89 Bayliner 2655 and probably alot of other makes and models.

I would be thankful if I could get the diagrams as I imagine there are tricky springs and things inside. :-)

    Thanks in advance.

Nevermind.. Not sire how I missed this. Right in the Service Manual.

    Weird. Skipped right past it.
