    Anybody ever painted the deck hatch lids?-gctid364856

    My deck hatch lids are faded yellowish color from being in the sun their whole life. I think they would look great painted Khaki (to match my snap in carpets) or Gloss black. Have any of you ever attempted this?

    Are there fiberglass fibers sticking out? Otherwise, just hit it with some Krylon Fusion after a light sanding.

    Black is the worst option IMO.

        Picked up some rustoleum for plastic this morning. Im going with white. I will post pictures once theyre painted.

          I wouldn't do white, nor Rustoleum. A "white" is going to be much whiter than the gelcoat and stick out. I think Khaki was a better option. The Krylon Fusion gets a lot better reviews than the Rustoleum products over the last few years, lots of issues with the nozzles I guess.
