Not in a 11' dink - the hydraulic unit would be worth 50% of this thing.

In process of cleaning up the dink to get all systems on it to 100% I had to do a bit of work to clean up the steering tube on the pivot of the outboard. (T25 Yamaha if it matters) This is a god forsaken design that begs for corrosion to stick the cable but it seems to endure so I won't belabor that point. Now that I have it working well I want it to stay that way.

I want to say that I have seen an accordian like bellows that clamps to the end of steering cable and connects to the pivot tube to keep salt out and the bit of grease on the cable from getting on anything that might touch it. Similar boot is on ends of a Rack and Pinion steering unit in a car.

Anybody know where I might find such a beast if it exists or if there is a keyword that I am missing as I search the web?
