I am looking at a 4555 for charter service. Any cautions about defects to watch for? How are Hino diesels generally? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello the Hino has a reputation for being a good engine. There are I think a few known issues and a simple search of this site just using the word Hino will keep you busy for quite a bit. Our 4588 had hinos and other than a bit of smoke at idle I loved them. As above there are some known issues like I think risers, but these are often already changed out with stainless steel units. Ours had been "done"
