Where can I find a replacement part for my glass door hinge round Black cap that goes on the Outside of the glass cabinet door

A lot more information is required starting with boat year and model then what door you are referring to.

If you can't find a black one, you can spray paint a chrome one. Chrome seems common. Home Depot for example.

It is 5288 Bayliner 2000. It is the glass door on the AC panel in the pilot house

Thanks for clarifying. Someone who knows this model will have to help.

If the hinges/caps on the 5288 are anything like the ones on the 4788, you may be in luck. The caps on my 2001 4788 started to degrade and crack mid 2010's. I first was able to source replacements from Lake Union Searay in Seattle for my breaker cabinet. When the caps on the stereo cabinet cracked, Lake Union Searay did not have them anymore so I wound up buying new hinges that came with caps. I purchased a set of 6, used 2 of them and still have 4 remaining. I have a different boat now so they are yours for the cost of postage if you like. The caps are gold colored. The hinges do not quickly disconnect like the stock hinges do but hopefully you are not removing the glass door all that frequently.

According to the return label on the box, I purchased it from Atlantic Hardware in Hackensack, NJ. I do not have info on the part #.

The round caps on mine are black plastic approximately 1" outside diameter. Is that the approximate outside diameter you have?

We have experienced failures of at least one these black caps on the last three boats where the small mounting screws had come adrift.

One of the caps on the electrical panel failed three years ago. Since they are no longer readily available from Bayliner/Meridian, we managed to repair it using JB Weld where it had cracked at the mounting screw point. It’s a finicky job, but the JB Weld seems to be just as strong as the original, and has held up for three years of normal use.
