2002 Bayliner 3788 Shaft Size?

Bayliners,

Anyone know the actual shaft size for a 2002 Bayliner 3788? It's not listed in the manual. I'm pretty sure that it's 1.5", but would love a confirmation. Also need the diameter of the stern tube.

My shaft seals are pretty much gone and I need to get replacements put in.

Depends on the horsepower. 1.75" for 270hp and 2" for 330hp. Easy to put some calipers to cfm.

1.5" for 250 hp. No idea of the shaft log size

Mine has 270's and using the caliper, I was able to verify 1.75" shafts.

The shaft logs are either 3.25" or 3.5" and thanks to a bolt there, I couldn't get my calipers in there to be sure. Mechanic says to wait until the old seals are off, then measure, then order overnight. That's my plan B, but was hoping that someone here could verify the log size, so I can use Amazon points and order new seals for free.

So if any needs the info for future reference, for my 3788 with 270HP engines, the shafts are 1.75” and the shaft logs are 3.5”.
