3288 broken ignition switch - want to have same keys for both sides!!

Searched the web in vain so I’m hoping someone has an answer. The port engine ignition switch on my 3288 flybridge is dead. Replacing it is not a big deal except I’d like to have the same key for Port and starboard. I’m ok having different key sets for the cabin and flybridge. I can’t find a source for two new ignition switches with the same key.

    Any thoughts or suggestions.

(I’ve seen some people have gone for start buttons but I don’t need another “project” at the moment)

    Thanks!

A locksmith might be able to rekey them for you.

The switch is very cheap plastic and I suspect a locksmith couldn’t re-key so I’ve just bitten the bullet and ordered a new switch with a different key. Just have to label them properly!
