Hi all. Does anyone have the part number for the 330 Cummins alternator ? Mine quit changing today. I have 12.7 at the battery and 3 volt at the positive terminal at the back of the alternator. Thanks Dave

It is a standard Delco alternator - should be able to get it rebuilt pretty much anywhere.
If semi-local to Kent, WA "Rebuilder" on Central has done right by me on a few things this year. Usually a day or two turnaround.1999 Sandpiper Pilothouse - Current

I bought what was supposed to be the correct model from a general internet supplier. Was 100% wrong... Whereas everything I have bought from sbmar has been an exact replacement.Current: 1998 Bayliner 4085 - Cummins 6BTA 370's

I'd check wiring. The positive terminal at the alternator, engine running or not should be the same as at the battery. That wire either goes to an isolator or ACR and then to the terminal on the starter which is where the big cable from the battery is connected. Hard to imagine how voltage would be any different at the alternator than the battery without something wrong in between.Tony Bacon,

Dave, you need a Delco-Remy Si19 equivalent. I’m attaching a couple of pics. I bought mine a while back from Spider Marine. You can get the number off the label in the pic (if they are still in business 🤭). It’s important that the top of it has the full width anchor point (see the other pic) that the bolt fits thru! Search thru Google and check the pics to see you have the right one. I think the standard unit was 105amps.
Good luck! Cheers

The original Delco 19si was 105amps, I was searching on the internet yesterday and it appears there is now a 135amp drop in replacement. Looking to upgrade but likely will go with even larger HD unit to get more amps at low rpms.Graeme
