Just happened that I was installing new fuel senders in my 1987 3270 today. It was only then I noticed that the port and starboard tanks are different dimensions. The port tank is 20 inches high and the starboard tank is 18 inches high. I now have two 18 inch sender units in both tanks. So empty is not quite empty in one of them. Looking a little closer the port tank is 20" high x 16" deep x 72" long and the starboard tank is 18" high x 19" deep x 67" long.
These are the original tanks both made in 1986 but with different model numbers. See the attached pictures first one is the port tank.
