OEM Deck cleats

Getting ready to refurbish the teak in the cockpit of my 3870. The 12” cleats are in need of replacement. The hole pattern is 5” x 2”. I believe these to be the original. I was wondering if anyone had a source for the OEM cleats? Thank you.

I removed mine and had them rechromed- they look better then new and cost was $75 per cleat. Of course now all my other cleats pale in comparison, but these are the cleats I see the most.

Check ABI marine hardware, SEA DOG marine hardware, PERKO marine hardware. As stated above I too had mine replated. Be sure to check hole pattern.

Sorry to dig up an old thread. I need 2 replacement 12 inch deck cleats for my recently acquired 3870.

The Perko ones above are $370US each and are a special order only.

I’ve found some that are close, and importantly in-stock but they are not a direct replacement.

Do you think I’d have any problems using these?

If the mounting holes are the same dimension no problem. If they are not you will be looking at fiberglass work. Are the original cleats missing or just in bad shape?

They were badly corroded and broken off. I’m not afraid of a little fibreglass work, I was more concerned about getting a good fix if the new screw holes are too close to, but not the same as the old ones.
