Does anyone know the hull layout for a 38 motoryacht

I'm getting ready to haul my 1988 3818 on a railway system and I mostly need to know how for forward of the transom the keel stops so I make sure I'm properly on the last keel block. Any help would be appreciated.

It's approximately 6 feet from the transom to the end of the keel. On the attached photo you can count the deck boards. The second set of cross beams is directly under the end of the keel.

I was going to say right about at the rear bulkhead.

MacPhid Interesting - setup, I assume that is winter storage? How do they lift the boat?

Yep, winter storage. If you see the two steel vertical posts, they have large steel beams about 22' above the water running the length of the covered slips. 4 10 ton electric hoists hooked to two slings. Basically a permanently installed travel lift. Beams are all moved and placed by hand, pretty labour intensive. Nice to have the boat under cover for the winter, no need for shrink wrap, and easy access over the winter to check on it.

ID:	605554 It gets a little dark along the keel, but this is how Dagmars Marina dry stores a 38.

Thanks, I've been doing a bunch of looking online and late yesterday finally found an out of the water on a sling photo that showed the keel to stop right between the engine room vents which goes right with what you're both saying above. I will be doing my first haul on our clubs rail system next Friday for some overdue cleaning and to get a plan made for stripping and repainting the bottom this next spring. I'm excited to finally have an option to work on it myself.

        Thanks again everyone.
