Was diagnosed with cancer Christmas eve. Have spent more time than I would like in hospitals including successful major surgery since then. Now on a chemo program to get rid of the one cancer blob. Boat went up for Sale just before Seattle boat show.

Sorry you are having to “swallow the anchor”. That’s a term I learned from my great uncle who was a ships Master for leaving the sea or retiring. Keep a positive attitude, you have a lot of friends here praying for things to go well.

                    Mickey,

I’m so sorry to hear about your unexpected health surprise and difficulties. I totally understand what you must feel, as I was just unexpectedly diagnosed with a cancer issue after a tonsillectomy last month. I’m just starting my journey, but like you, will prevail. Thankfully, research has yielded many advances that will help you and I both power through and beat this demon.

My prayers are with you and your family as you travel your path to a successful recovery to good health. And by no means is this an end of an era....it’s just a new chapter...

                    God Bless,
