    Door weather stripping

I am trying to locate the weather stripping for the salon slider door. The door has a channel on the trailing edge (starboard side) on the inside. This channel runs the entire height of the door. It stops air flow between the door and aft bulk head. I have attached pictures of the profile.
Does any one know where I can purchase this weather stripping?

This is where I got mine. its in Denmark (i live in Denmark) but this guy got all sort of striping. Just ask him - he will get. I think postage is limited since it fills an envelope.

Thanks for the heads up. Found the stripping near Seattle WA. Comes in 11,000 ft. roll but owner cut 10' for me.

The door (mine) has only one size and style. The size is 3/8" pile and push in style. The door jamb (mine) has one style and two sizes. Facing the door from the cockpit, the forward pile is 1/2" x 5/16". 1/2" is pile length; 5/16" is backing width. The aft pile is 3/8"; the backing is 3/32".

Turns out the stripping I ordered is not the correct type. Mine is completely missing and I wrongly assumed it was the same type as that which is in the jamb. I need the same kind you used. Can you tell me the depth of the pile?

Pile depth is 3/8". Backing looks like an arrow with two fins. I will try to attach a drawing but don't hold your breath.

Still can't figure out how to attach pics to this website. Blue bar just keeps blinking.

Thanks scubadiver. I saw the pictures in the original post. I am sure that is what I need. I had purchased they type that is T shapped and slides into the groove. The trouble with that is that the grouve in the door is deep enough to swallow the whole thing.

The google search to use is KERF Mounted Pile Weatherstripping. This turns up a number of suppliers, some that sell by the foot.

Jim, thanks for the link! I’ve been looking for the aluminum track for our sliding entry door, they had some options to consider.

Has anyone tried this sliding door repair kit? I am tired of replacing my wheels and this looks like a good solution if it will work on a salon door.
