Nest Thermostat on Reverse Cycle: 4788

I have been on boats that have had Nest thermostats on their reverse cycle heating/cooling units. I find it very appealing to be able to turn on my unit from my phone while I am a few minutes away. Has anyone have any insight before I execute? My hesitation is that I would not be able to receive the error codes on the thermestat like I can on the Cruiseair. I do have internet on the boat. Cable at the dock and 4g while underway.
    Thanks

Call the folks at Sure Marine in Seattle. I was talking to them the other day about putting a Nest on my boat (just a forced air system at this point) and he said you can put a relay in and then it'll work. I didn't dive in too deeply with what he meant because my T-stat is not my current problem so I'm going to stick with what I have. It does sound possible and the convenience factor is high!
